Title: toutle scouting
Post by: buckhorn2 on August 28, 2008, 07:58:50 AM
Went to the toutle looking for elk and saw quite a few bulls. Only saw one bunch of cows that had a bull with them all the bulls were off by them selves. there was fog in the morning and hard to see toward the top of the 3000 but lifted in the afternoon and the elk were out. There were quite a few grouse and still guys fishing for steelhead. Is sure fun to get out and just look.

Never been out in that area, I have heard everybody talk about it but have not made the trip, maybe this year.
