Bobber and worm, or a couple split shot 18 inches of leader with a slow retrive.
-
Bullet weight, barrel swivel, 2ft. leader, half to a fourth of a large nightcrawler. Slow retrieve with a little jigging.
-
two crappie jigs yellow and white or red and white tied about a foot apart under a bobbed. cast near silly pads or grass lies and jiggle or slow retrieve. oh and tip the jigs with an inch or so of worm.

Wait until it gets colder and drill a hole in the ice! :sas:

Duh. They taste better then too.

Just a simple bobber and a warm has always done the trick

I like using Slip Bobbers. That way I can adjust for weed depth.... and just set the Worms at a depth about 6" above the weed beds, or bottom. Perch will just swim by willy nilly, and pick up stuff off the bottom.
ALLWAYS USE LIVE WORMS!
That's the best way I know.
Plus, the slip bobbers are MUCH easy to cast out from shore than other floats.
