Title: Anyone have any luck in the blues last weekend??
Post by: elkinrutdrivemenuts on October 15, 2012, 08:39:25 AM: I was up out of pomeroy hunting a nasty canyon, saw elk but not a single deer. That's the way it goes up there though. My dad did help a muzzy hunter tag his bull the last night of the season, a 7x7. He waited 16 years so that was cool he didn't have to eat that tag.

Didn't see any hanging either. Anyone have any luck up in the mountains away from the private land?

Post by: 270Flat on October 15, 2012, 09:38:10 AM: Went up with a buddy who had a deer tag. Saw some does, ALOT of people. Was like a pumpkin patch... Saw one bear far out, a family is Sasquatch... :chuckle:

Came home and did see a few animals hanging in camps that had horses. Nice mule deers. :tup:
