Title: Sno County Blacktail/Bruin advice
Post by: Bullets_n_Octane on October 15, 2012, 08:44:25 AM
I just recently found this forum, and have never heard of it, but I sit and read for hours on all the topics since finding it, so here I am, interacting...cool site!

I had a question for anyone willing to assist. I am a Liberty to Roslyn and everything in between Deer/Elk hunter. However, with the crazy yearly ammount of people per square mile increase, and now the wildfires, I didn't see a single animal (not even a squirrel) BARE, not a single track, scat, nothing. Then over in Roslyn, I only saw a single buck (HUGE 6x7 Muley), however when I went in after him, I soon realized there was about 5-6 idiots after him as well. Sorry if one of these people was you, but we ALL should be wearing Blaze Orange during modern, not just runnin around like crazed rednecks in Jeans and a flannel jacket....)  :bash:

I live in Snohomish, So i want to go somewhere for some Modern Deer day trips, I was thinking, Darrington, Mountain Loop, C-Post, Illabot, Jim Creek, Cavanaugh... but not sure where is a good spot to go anymore, after so many years huntin Central Wa.

Any info/tips, would be GREATLY appreciated, and I Thank You in advance!

Also have my Bear n Cat tags as well...

Is there any good land up here anymore? or is it all gated off?

Im not lookin for anyones Honeyholes or Sweet spots, More just lookin for info about whats closed off, and whats open, and if they've all gone dry, or is there still game around? I havent hunted NW Wa since I was a kid living in Oso (between Arlington and Darrington on Highway 530))... which btw, is why I ask about C-post, everyone up there thinks its a real place...lol...
