Shot this buck at 7:30am opening morning. Was walking down a road and looked up the hill and see a buck. its a small two point so i just watch him as he walks down the ridge and he gets down a little way and i notice a couple more deer so i pull my binos up and see my buck. i see hes legal and hes about 175 yards up the hill so i get down on one knee and get him in my scope and pull the trigger. i was moving around quit a bit so after the shot i wasnt 100 percent i hit him but he didnt run off and was just taking a few steps around so i kinda figured i hit him at that point, he starts walking up the hill real slow so i put another one in him and he drops. drug him down to the road and thats all she wrote. Before i started gutting him my uncle calls and says he has a 4pt down so we got mine loaded up and went and helped him. our best opening morning yet.
