Title: Bad photos of some Skagit Elk
Post by: Ray on August 28, 2008, 07:40:25 PM: Well I didn't find any skagit bears but I did see some elk and thumped on a yote this morning with the .30-06.

I'm hoping to get some more good pics of them buggers in the next couple weeks while I'm out trying to stick a deer.

He's only sporting 4x4 and was coming out of his velvet. He was rubbing his antlers on everything in sight. It was fairly easy to sneak up to 35 yards in my flip flops. But not easy to hold the camera still.
