melt butter in a small dish,buy some blackened season its usually by the meat counter,cut steaks about 1/2 thick,dredge steak both sides in butter,then put the seasoning on both sides heavy.let sit.get a cast iron skillet on the fire or stove and crank it up ,till its very hot, no hotter than that.No I mean walk away from it hot the hotter the better.then drop the steak in the pan.1 1/2 minutes per side at 1/2 inch thick. take of the pan and enjoy.WARNING.DONT DO THIS IN THE HOUSE,TENT OR TRAILOR.HEAVEY SMOKE!
