Events of the weekend are turning out such that I may have a chance to do some reloading. I may be staying with someone who has plenty of equipment. I think I'll pass on the 12ga shells for now, but I may take about 10 boxes of my .30-06 cases for reloading.
My understanding is that I will need primers, powder, and bullets. These are hunting/practice-for-hunting rounds I want to reload, so I'm thinking I should just reload with the typical 150/180 grain softpoints that I hunt with.
Any suggestions?? :dunno: Thanks.

I load a lot of Remington corelokt in 30-06. Good hunting bullet and cheap enough to plink with. 180 and/or 150.

I agree on the cor-lokt. They are relatively cheap and perfomr well on game. Not the prime choice for a hunting only bullet, but I have used them in 30-06 and 308 for years on everything from rabbit to elk.
