Had to have been some forest service puke because i havent seen another hunter on my hill ever in the past 20+ years. Hung my camera back in June in the #218 unit. Never made it over before the regular season to check on it, but brought fresh batteries and a new memory card with me. Went up thursday before opening day and it was gone! There were signs of forest service doing some logging near by. Hung that camera on the same tree for the last 3 years. Moultrie 5.0 in camo. Thing worked like a champ. Thanks to the lowlife puke that took it! Jerk!

Nothing pisses me off more than a thief! you need a camera to watch the other camera to catch that Jerk in action!

Oh already got that in the works! Next year we'll see laughs last! Got 2 extra ones to catch a pic of his car way down on the road and one as he comes up the trail!

Yeah that sucks that your camera got stolen. What kind of logging was near by. Was it trail clearing or actually logging operations? The forest service doesn't log anymore they hire contractors to do it. Have you contacted the local FS LE?

It's unfortunate that we have to plan ahead, but I WILL NOT put a camera out without a locked box. They are less than $30 to your door. Last two cameras I ordered on ebay came with a box for less than I could get the camera alone at Cabelas.

I still worry about the thieves even though our cameras are locked. Locks are made to be broken.... :yike:
