Went out hunting Saturday AM with my father in law. Started out working a timber line on a pretty big clear cut - found a nice well worn game trail, followed that through for about 2 miles to a patch of young alders. Walked down the trail - I looked to my left and saw this guy standing broadside at about 70yds just looking at me.
Put the binos on him- saw he was a good buck- made sure the shot was clear - boom! Buck down.
Was a great day with the new father in law (our first buck together-got married in August). :chuckle:
