Title: Skipper too short.....
Post by: Blacktail135 on October 22, 2012, 05:19:24 PM
or too cold or what? :chuckle: Anyway, any feedback on zippered waders? After 2 mugs of coffee (50YO bladder 'ya know) and spending all day in 1-2 feet of water moving cow fence (electric) I think I got pretty much everything around me pee'd on. Good wader test today.....my heavies leak on the left, my lights leak on the right so it's time for new ones. Looking for feedback on zipper-front waders. Don't sound right to me but, as Uncle Si would say....."Hey" maybe.

Zipper fronts work good.  I had a set years back, but didn't replace them as I wear them out to quickly.  There is a guy that makes custom waders down in Portland that can make custom sizes, zippered fronts, half size boots etc.  You can find him on IFish if your looking.  Remember all dry suites have zippers and your underwater.  You will be good to go as long as you zip it up.

I just got a new pair of them this year and love them. They have been making water proof zippers for years in dry suits for diving. It's nice to when it a little warm out or have to relieve your self.
