hey all, looking for some input on places to do some snowshoeing this winter with opportunities to see or photograph wintering mulies

I always felt that I would be bumping them and messing with survival rates to go viewing wintering animals like this. We snowshoe at other elevations for just the fun of getting out and staying out overnight in the back country...  See lots of Cougar tracks though...

i was thinking more at a distance, on the hill behind a field or something.
we do those kinds of trips too, itd just be another excuse to get out

No kidding. I cannot wait until after some surgery I have scheduled to return to back country snowshoeing. Nothing beats it.
