Normally by this point in the season I would have already passed up at least a few twp points and spikes but I have not seen an animal with horns while hunting thus far. What the F is going on? anybody else having this problem or do I just suck at hunting all of a sudden? :dunno:

Blacktails by the way.

The teachers union must be teaching the deer to read the hunting pamphlet--they aren't teaching our kids anything!

No your not the only one. I have been hunting since opening weekend and have seen plenty of does and fawns but no bucks at all. What area you hunting if you dont mind me asking? Ive hunted greenwater and vail area and no signs of bucks.

The 633,636, and 651. so pretty much all of mason county. I guess the local taxidermist has already had 9 different guys contact him about getting their cougars done. So that might have something to do with it.

I've been hearing a lot of folks from the NE corner asking this same question. Sounds like its been slow across the board (with a few lunkers here and there). Thats fine by me though, as long as it heats up for the late archery...which it will :chuckle:.

60 degrees eveyday, blue sky. Stated to snow a little day after season. Talked to a friend with five in his camp. They went to concunally never saw a buck of any kind.
