A lot of times it could be infected from a few ticks or injury we had a few bucks like that where I hunt and a guy shot one like they they cut it open and its filled with puss and looked a lot like a bad infection

Was the meat any good after you cut that growth off Whitetail freak?

get him and do a  shoulder mount.  fill the sack up with something squishy and hang it low so people can play with it

Heres the same buck a couple of days ago and he looks pretty healthy to me.
