Title: where did all the elk go?
Post by: elkhunter3178 on October 29, 2012, 02:48:42 PM: was down in the coweeman over the week end and saw no elk. Where did they all go? anyone see anything down there? seems they left due to the drought????

As a matter of fact we sat watching a herd in a draw and 6 trucks passed us looking funny at us. Not one of them spotted elk. They were far down and quite small but jeez! My dad says too many clearcuts, the bulls all shot up! :chuckle:
