Work sent us out into the eastern side of the Pasayten Wilderness for the last three days. Summer up there is officially over. The daytime high was 37 degrees. It snowed for two days straight. And at night it dipped into the low 20's. Yesterday I drove up to Cold Springs in the Loomis State forest and it was in the low 40's at 11 am. Here in Oroville it's cooling down fast!

I live near Elk, wa  (north of Spokane)  I had frost on July 11th (late frost)  July 31  (early frost)
and it frosted the last two nights. (aug 31 and sept 1)

the nice thing about it is no mosquitoes, the bad thing is it's tough to grow a garden.
