Fishing for some basic info on this unit. Looking at a late muzzy for deer in there. Interested in info about places to stay in Naselle and major road access points into the unit. Who puts out a good road map for the area etc. Its any deer Dec 7-15. Thanks for the help.

Rayonier and Hancock own a lot of land in that unit.   There is a motel/restaurant called Hunters' Inn in Naselle that is a pretty popular place to stay during elk season.  You should be able to drive around a lot of the rayonier land out of South Bend.  I think the Hancock roads will be locked up after this weekend, but not 100% positive.  Lots of ground behind their gates.  A lot of land out of Naselle  is access permit only, like Salmon Creek and Grays River.  You should see some deer down there, good luck on your hunt.

I was thinking of heading there myself. I don't know the area, but my brother lives in Raymond.
