Title: First evening hunt
Post by: EastWaViking on September 02, 2008, 03:50:40 PM: Here are a couple of pictures of yesterdays hunt with my 6 year old son. This was the first hunt for him where we sat for the whole evening. We saw 13 deer, five bucks, and passed up a shot at a doe.
After it got too dark to shoot I told him he could stand up quietly, and the first thing out of his mouth was "When can we hunt again? Tomorrow?" I think he's hooked!

I took my then 10 year old son last year on his first elk hunt and he had a blast. Lucky kid must think it is easy, we had a toutle any bull tag and we saw at least 7 bulls a day. I can still see the size of his eye's the first time he saw a little raggy and thought it was the biggest elk in Washington and we must take it,priceless!
