Title: Late modern rifle deer hunt for kids, vets, disabled hunter?
Post by: lokidog on November 08, 2012, 06:22:34 PM
So,  I have had a cancellation of a planned hunt for a youngster and have a spot open.  This would likely be for a BT doe, island sized, not a tough hunt, but not a guarantee either.  I would be tossing out apples and have a blind available in at least one location.  There could be some still hunting available as well for more of a challenge.  A buck would be a possibility.

I can provide a ML or scoped 20 ga shotgun.

Let me know with a PM.

 :chuckle:   :chuckle:

We don't got no stinking ferries coming here.....  I would pick the person(s) up in Anacortes on my boat.  Price?  I'm not a guide, nor am I in it to make any $$.  A few bucks to cover gas costs or whatever would be great.

Some crabbing might be available as well.

No guarantees of a clean house (wife's statement), or a neat yard, but have a relatively warm futon and good food.   :chuckle:

Your good people!!

I loved your cap revolver hunt story. The whole "toss out a few apples and stomp one for scent" deal was pretty amusing to me. Trying to picture that and the hunt with all your great descriptions and details was fun.

Here's to hoping you make some lifetime memories for all involved.

My daughter and Mr USER went out to lokidog's this last weekend for late buck and had a good time hunting, thanks a million lokidog. Mr User scored a nice two point, and my daughter saw lots of does but held out for a buck. She did see one nice buck but it didn't work out, oh well next year. We had to take the peraclet ferry back to Anacortes because the sea state was so bad, 8+ foot waves what a ride.

Thanks again lokidog for a great weekend.
