Anyone have any advise on Whitetail in area East of Usk? Don't want your secret spot just where I might wanta try for a buck. Any help appreciated.

All the national forest hold deer. Youll need to scout and get away from the roads to find them though.

:yeah:
It's thick and steep in a lot of places up there but there are plenty of deer if you get away from the roads.

damn near hit 'em every night when coming home. Bead lake ridge got quite a bit of snow and as mentioned is steeper than a cow's face. good luck & come visit the camas center on the rez if you can. I have to work the weekend shift but would like to see anybody's success

Thanks for the imput. I was going up toward Sullivan Lake but I heard more animals had been seen futher south toward Usk. I'll try to stop at the Camas center Runningboard. Whats your first name?

It's thick, thick, thick. Stand hunting only unless you're the sneakiest person alive. Don't get lost. Lots of steep country. Make up in your mind what you want to shoot and if you see something close, drop it because you won't see tons of deer.
