Title: New Rifle
Post by: Wacenturion on November 09, 2012, 05:20:19 PM: Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Lightweight in .257 Roberts. One of Cabelas' Limited Editions. Been thinking about getting one since I saw a picture in a special Limited Edition brochure Cabelas put out in the spring. They finally arrived about a month or so ago. Searched a few stores and luckily found one with wood I liked, so I jumped on it. From what i understand on other forums, they shoot pretty darn well.

Very nice. Yeah, I'm old school when it comes to firearms. Love nice wood. Synthetics just don't float my boat. I remember hearing the following somewhere...............

Life is too short to hunt with an ugly gun.... :chuckle:

Wood is the first thing I look at on a rifle. Its what makes a classic hunting rifle stand out above others...But then I am a woodoholic... :chuckle:
