So after my last yote fiasco, decided hey I could run out and try some night calling in my field really fast. Cut up a red see threw portfolio folder and boom I've got a red lense on my 15 million candle power cabelas spot light :IBCOOL: . Grab the ar and head out. Start out some jack rabbit distress and let it run for 5 mins, hit the mute scan around nope nothing. Replay it, while scanning a little louder. Here comes a set of eyes at about 100 yards, too low to the ground to be a yote. They come from my neighbor's property, spin and put the scope on them but they are in some weeds just where I can see the eye sheen but not the body. The stare down begins, I know my neighbor has a barn cat that I always see mousing in my field. Start to think that must be him, start scanning again. Right as I get back to the eyes the stand up and walk off, I get a nice glimpse as the pass into more weeds. Bigger than I thought, and no tail. :bash: think I just blew it on a bobcat.
