Title: eastside elk late muzzy, where to go?
Post by: trophyhunt on November 11, 2012, 06:33:06 PM: My early season muzzy never happens because I'm in Idaho for elk at the same time, late season just doesn't seem to have any good units. Do any of you guys know what a good late muzzy eastside elk unit would be? Of course I'm not asking for a spot you spend many years getting to know, I just would love to know the unit that holds some elk. Thanks for any advise.

If you buy an east side muzzleloader tag you really need to plan on putting all your time into the early season.

Where to go if you have big money? Because there are big bulls and it's any elk :dunno: :dunno:

Better to pay big and get a return immediately than to wait 12-15 years to get drawn and pay and pray each year :twocents:

The odds of getting a permit are not that bad. If you have 3 points or more, you should be able to score.
The permit seasons are much longer than the non-permit seasons. More time.
