Title: Desert Unit Story
Post by: jimkrueg on November 12, 2012, 11:01:49 AM
Did some scouting Saturday in the Desert Unit. I have a archery permit. My girlfriend and I were about a mile in when we spotted a nice tall two pointer. He saw us and just stood there broad side at about two hundred yards. He then turned and faced us and started walking towards us. I said to my girlfriend, "What is this buck doing." He got to about 50 yards, raised up his nose, and ran off. He must have been in the rut thinking we where does. The scarey part is is that we had no cover what so ever..
