I.m thinking of heading over to the penisula tomorrow morning to spend the remaining days left of bear season. I know there is DNR land and timber company land there, does anybody have any suggestions where I should concentrate my hunting efforts.Anybody know where the public land use areas are? I cant call over there for info because of the holiday today, I will be leaving in the morning about 6am to make the trip from marysville,wa thank you for any responses in advance.

I think you can get that info through the assessor's office online for the county where you want to hunt. There's usually access to maps which show. DNR, WDFW, NFS, and timber company land. The other place I'd check is www.gpsfiledepot.com (http://www.gpsfiledepot.com)

I've had great luck on the Tarboo Powerlines near Tarboo Lake. Old Eaglemount is also a good starting point.  These places are my backyard.
