Wondering if anyone has stayed at either one, and how it would be with a 24' trailer?

Well from this it would be VERY VERY VERY hard to get a 24' trailer to Penix.

I've only been to Jones Bay by boat, but I've seen trailers in the campground before.

good road to get to the turn off for jones ( Hanson harbor road) the actual road down to the campground is narrow, mostly gravel and sand you should have no problem. you could always do keller ferry campground.
