Hi folks. I recently found out I couldn't switch my west side tag over to east side this late in the year, chaulk it up to my noob-ness therefore I will be hunting over here on the west side. I plan on doing all of my hunting in the Issaquah GMU 454. Sorry for my ignorance, but does anyone know where a decent place to start would be? I don't by any means want to offend anyone by asking for this information and would not expect any honey hole locations, but all my friends have information only in the North Bend area. I have heard Taylor Mountain is closed to hunting and its easy to get too close to the water shed. Are there decent areas to hump in on the east side of Hwy 18 that aren't private or off limits? Thanks for any information you guys can provide.

I have seen a few elk east of highway 18 across from the Tiger mountain summit. Not far back in on the power lines, but that was during summer months

since when do they let people change tag? yes there are a few elk that hang on tiger mountain, because east of hiway 18 is a no fire zone :chuckle: you have all day today to sit across the road and wait for one to cross tho :chuckle:

If it's a firearm restriction over there, is archery still allowed? You can actually switch over your tag if you do it before the middle of September :)
