Title: Limbhanger comes home
Post by: Fishnfowler on November 15, 2012, 08:38:34 AM
This morning Mr. Big came to call.  This is our first Fall hunt ever in our unit.  It was by draw only.  Anyway, I've had my eye on this guy for a couple of weeks and luckily for me he used his same old trail off the roost.

I'd barely settled in when he came walking by.  For what may be the biggest turkey of my life, it was very anti-climatic.

He has a 10" beard and 1-3/8" spurs.  I can't find my scale anywhere, so his weight will remain a mystery.
