It has worked for me.  I also use Trails End and had success with it.

Benchlegs are crossbred deer. Ergo, to them a deer is a deer. Doe piss should work no matter what type of doe it is.

You need to drink it 30 minutes before hitting the woods so your body has time to process it. The smell will stay on your breath immediately and seep out through your pores in about a half hour. An added advantage is that you'll pee it out and leave scent markers when you relieve yourself.

I dont belive that to be 100% true, last week i was in an area the mule deer were going crazy rutting. Every group of does had bucks with them, even if it was just a doe and fawn. If any deer piss worked, the whitetail bucks in the area woulda been going nuts to right  :dunno: just my observation... None of the whitetail does had bucks.

if you do that make sure to wear a full doe  suit, crawl around on all four and use a doe in heat bawl every once in a while

This doesn't really make sense :dunno:. Why would the muley does being in heat have anything to do with the whitetail does? If I was trying to figure out if doe estrous from one sub species worked on another I would probably check to see if there were any whitetail bucks trying to run a muley does, since they were the ones in heat... :dunno:

okay im  sure a lot of people will  call b.s. on this,  but i read that fossil records and mitochondrial dna show that mule deer came into existence after the last ice age as a direct result of blacktail bucks breeding whitetail does.

I think peak estrus works regardless.

We used the old girlfriends tampons during spring bear with great results.  To this day I think it is the best spring bear attractant there is!  Theory is the Grizzly Man met his doom because his girlfriend was menstrual when she visited.  The only pilot whale attack that I am aware of involved a woman diver on her period.

The old GF also killed one of the largest blacktails ever taken by a woman back in '85.  I watched that buck track her for about 1,000 yards until she realized he was there and put a .308 slug through his chest.

So if human/animal estrus instills curiosity I don't see why blacktail/whitetail estrus would differ much.  Whether it arouses them or they are curious I couldn't say.  But, I believe it attracts bucks either way.
