Title: Under the Age of 12.
Post by: szairborne on November 15, 2012, 08:40:01 PM: I recently was transferred to FT Lewis from Fort Knox Kentucky. In Kentucky a child under the age of 12 did not need a hunters safety to buy a hunting license as long as they were with a hunter over the age of 18, with a hunters safety and who was not hunting. I read the rules for Washington and it states anyone born after 1972 needs one, but over the age of 12. So does she need a hunters safety? If anyone can help clarify this that would be great. My youngest daughter is 10 right now and wants to hunt next season.
