So I recently picked up a pair of asolos drifters. Overall great boot. A bit stiff for me but after a month the boot is breaking in well. I have wore them everyday. I feel these will be a great early season boot. However the vibram sole doesn't provide as good as traction. When i was doing the walk through skooum i was sliding on the down hills.
Today i picked up a pair of meindls cab air revolution. Boot feels light, felt more comfortable right out of the gate. But they don't have a shank like the asolos. I will start wearing then over the few weeks to see how the boot does.
Anybody have these boots? What do you think? I'm finding the danners are to bulky and don't have the fit I'm looking for.

I'm on my second pair of Denali's and I have not found a better boot for me, but I can't speak to the Revolution.
