My father-in-law who is a senior citizen and doesn't move well anymore was drawn for this hunt that starts the day before Thanksgiving. My brother-in-law and I are going to try and get him on a cow but we know it will be challenging as he will need plenty of time to set up to get a good shot. If you have any advice for us that would be great. Not looking for any handouts just some advice as this is more than likely his last chance for an elk. Feel free to PM me if you prefer not to post anything. Thanks everyone and good luck!

Welcome to the site :hello:
This is for the Nov. 21st - 30th and January 1-16?
That's going to be an easy tag to fill. Sounds like he'll be road hunting for it because of his age but that shouldn't pose a problem. That's a gimme tag and even if you don't close the deal in November, it will be even easier in January.
Good Luck

I drew the tag as well and will be in a black avalanche, or grey F150. PM me and we'll get on the same band and see if we can't locate a herd for you guys. We'll generally be up high looking down.

Myself and a few buddies drew this tag as well. We will be there this weekend and then the first week of January. PM me if you want and I can get you my phone number and let you know if we see some easy cows.
