I am a new hunter and looking for any good pheasant spots in the tri-cities. Does any one have any suggestions? If you want to meet up and show me and my friend any tips and tricks you know that would be appreciated and very welcome too. Ty for your help.

We are both in the mid 20s. No hunting experience. We have both started getting into it together as beginners and no dog.

i'm just asking because most people will be a little more willing to share info or even let you guys tag along on a hunt if you give a little background info about yourselves. you should start by going on the wdfw website and checking out the pheasant realease pamphlet.
here i'll help. :chuckle:

I am also new to hunting. I also live in the tri-cities. First year for both our dog and myself doing upland bird. Start talking to people friends that hunt and start driving around. You will find that there is tons of free to hunt land in our area. Probably the closest release site is Big Flats. Also Ringold I believe is a release site. I have been told that they plant birds for Thanks Giving weekend also. I have been looking for wild birds in our area and have had some luck finding them but no luck in actually killing any yet. We flushed up a hen today but no roosters.
