Back from TDY, took my Chessie to a release site, not bad for his first ever bird, can't wait to take him for ducks.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F%5Bimg+width%3D800+height%3D600%5Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fi130.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fp278%2Ftotaki%2F016_zps90738d6b.jpg&hash=b4ab70705f80469ce2d44f5bf15f5981f500af77)[/img](https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi130.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fp278%2Ftotaki%2F016_zps90738d6b.jpg&hash=85dba953ba38a852c451369e603ee5df8cd6a73f)

Well it came back in 1 piece. :chuckle:
I hunted with Chessey's for many years and they were a bit hard on birds, but always brought them back.
Great looking dog 4 sure. Still love them just shifted gears and went to labs.
Nice going, way to put the meat on the table.

Good job! I've hunted two chessies and neither could smell a bird in the grass if they were standing on it. Seen both swim through ice covered water 100 yards or more to retrieve a snow, however. Looks like you got yourself a good one  You will be amazed when the ducks start hitting the water!
