If any member has the Raymond cow tag (Dec 15th- Dec31st) and needs help please pm me. I have access to 90 acres that have a small herd there most of the time. also know where to hunt these things along highway 6.I can also put you in contact with a farmer that will let you hunt some of his property.

Great offer

I have the Toledo cow tag for the same time period. I wish I could get that lucky to have one of the local land owners allow me to hunt their land.

I have a Jan 1st-16th cow tag for boistfort if anyone has any good ideas.
I had that tag a few years ago. I got a hold of the local bioligist for that area. He had the names and phone numbers of several land owners with elk problems. Might give that a try.

No special tag, but Ill be chasing elk in 672 east of Raymond starting now until it's over on Dec 15th. Haven't hunted the area before and don't know much about it but going to give it a shot

We had general season cow tags for boistfort.. did not see any but saw lots of sign... find the onion field off of Klahout rd. (behind the fire station) there is a small herd in there. Its posted on both sides of the field but local hunters told us the landowners dont want the elk in there, thats why its not posted and not fenced. PM me if u want.. we hunted it pretty hard for the general season

I don't want to thread jack but....I'll be in the naselle area looking for cows, any input in that area would be great or( raymond area for that matter), I almost sealed the deal yesterday but branches and heavy cover kept that cow alive even though it was within 10-15 yards for over 20min. :bash: Happy Thanks Giving!

crunchy would you happen to have that list still? Maybe I can fill both my dad's tags and mine for next year.

Go to the yellow farm house and register. You can walk out in the field and shoot one. My dad and I have filled 3 cow tags on his property. It takes longer to register than it does to fill your tag. The farmer will drive out with his tractor and place it whole in the back of your truck. It does not get an easier...

Just wondering if anyone took PLUVIUSWAPITI up on his offer and if so any pic's and storys out there. Or any of these other cow tags that have been talked about on this thread.

Bump for next season! I have a location in the Naselle area for next year, but still looking to fill a tag on a better location. Planning on staying on the wet side this year as my old hunting buddy wants to stay on this side of the mountains for the early archery season, something about mid afternoon fishing thing down there!! LOL. Any new suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
