Title: Snow report for the sinlahekin?
Post by: grundy53 on November 21, 2012, 09:25:01 PM
I checked the weather report for Loomis. Looks wet and sloppy. Does anyone know how high up you have to get until you hit snow? Thanks for any info.

Depends on how well behaved I am at thanksgiving (first one Im actually attending in the last  5 years, usually in Idaho). If I'm good I will be heading over Friday. If not I'll be hunting closer to home :chuckle:.

With the warm day yesterday, and the cold night, the snow is very crunchy.

Just came from there. Had to work thanksgiving :(. Any ways the snow level as of opening day was on top. About 2' worth. No snow on rattlesnake or gold hill. Lots above cemetery grade and Cecile creek. Seen some good bucks.
