Just ordered a Foxpro Spitfire on Cabelas for $130 after tax & shipping! Been hand calling for years so I look forward to trying something new. Any fans? Any tips?
-
Good deal! If your caller has the "Coyote group yip/howl" call on it, you'll find it your most-used call.

Just ordered mine as well. After the free shipping and a few bucks I had on the card...it was 122 to my door. Can't wait our team needs to make up some ground (Coyote Madness). It should be here just in time for my late muzzy tag to be finished and yote hunting to begin. :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

You two may want to add the foxjack-2 decoy on to your calls I put one on this week and its made alot of different in getting them in. By having something that they can see and hear.

I used to hook my jack-in-the-box decoy to my Foxpro Scorpion, but it was so bulky I got a Black Jack decoy that will work independently, with it's own remote, and fits in my backpack easily. I'm a big fan of "packability" which is why I bought the Scorpion model.

wow, nice! I offered a guy selling a foxpro on here that for a used one.

could not pass that up, just ordered

Ordered one! Not sure what decoy to get with it? Thinking the black jack? Maybe the wrong name. Either that one or the one that mounts onto the unit. Either way getting a decoy also.
-
You guys had me convinced that I needed one.
Went to Cabelas- SOLD OUT! :bash:
Oh well, I'll have to get by with my Johnny Stewart. Just thought it would be nice to have a remote.
-
Did you check online Bobcat?

:yeah: I use a Jack Attack decoy. Similar to a Black Jack. Remote control, independent operation, and best of all, it's compact. I have a Jack-in-the-Box decoy also, but never use it any more--too bulky.

So does anyone have any mp3 sounds they'd be willing to share? Looking for mp3 files that have a sequence of calls.

Got one of these for christmas and have yet to get out and use it :bash:. Was in Cabelas today and they had the Foxpro rechargeable ones but said to not use them in a call that takes 4 batteries :dunno:Is anyone using them in there's. How long are you getting out of non rechargables/ Thanks Allen

I've had mine since Thanksgiving and used it for calling over 10 hours so far. Still on the same pair of batteries. And 4 batteries are light so I have been carrying 4 extras just in case. I've been impressed!

Don't go out without those extra batteries. When your caller stops calling, and won't respond to the remote--you will know the batteries are dead. :o
