Title: Looking for help
Post by: Hurricane on November 25, 2012, 08:19:16 PM: We are hunting the Winston unit trying to fill elk tags for 3 guys in our group. We have been going hard at it since Friday with no success. We are not seeing the animals like we usually do. Anyone have any recommendations? I don't want any honey holes just a general area where we might see something. We don't have any problems busting the brush. Thanks Robby

Try the 1000 & 2000 roads off Salmon Creek.

I know of one group of 7 hunters, filled all their tags in the Winston.. 4 5x5's & 3 4x4's...
