Here is a pic of a buck I got in 2010. No pics of him in 2011 and he finally is back this year. In 10 i believe he was four and a half, so this year he is a 6 year old.
The other pic is of a deer that has three pedicles, and one more for fun.

Looks like your big three in the first pictures huh? I love the coloring on his cape. That gray muzzle shows he is definitely over the hill. Leave the three horned buck alone. He needs a couple more years. You know ;) save him for me.

I believe you can age a deer by the pic. There have been a few threads on this. DB Is good at it also. I think once a deer has filled out and his neck is almost as thick as his chest he is 4 1/2 . After that his nose appears to get shorter cause his forehead gets broader. His belly line sags and his back is no longer straight. A really old buck may even get gray around eyes and muzzle. That buck in the post is at least 6 1/2 years old .. Maybe even older.
