Title: A friends buck
Post by: kyle78 on November 27, 2012, 10:34:33 AM
I'm keeping his face private. Some of you might know him. All I know of the story is that this is a late archery deer and was 34" wide. I know the unit and I can't say where.

Oh, I don't question wether or not is a big buck. Thats clear. I was just joking about the long arming. I guess thats one of my pet peeves, especially when a buck is big enough not to need it! Great buck!

If it is the same guy I saw the picture of in the back of his truck he is a tall lanky guy.  In the back of the truck you can tell how big it is.  Really nice deer for sure, he puts in some real effort every year.  Great looking deer.

LOL, it's not like the 3 late archery Muley units are a big secret, there are more guys running around out there this year than ever, it's a zoo. :chuckle:

Three?  I count 16 units open for the late archery mule deer season right now.

Was up scouting and hunting with the hunter and his dad. The buck measures 34and1/4 inches. Told them of another buck that would go 30 also. Hope they get another big one.

I left out "big". I'd bet it was either Swakane, Pogue or Sinlahekin. :twocents:

Not the guy I am thinking of then.  Sounds like a couple of giants are out there.  My group didn't see anything really big, I thought it would be better with the early snow.

That's true, he's pretty much an albino Ethiopian.  That deer's head and neck weigh as much as he does.
