I wondered how long it would take for this buck to show up. He works with my ol man and we got the picture back when he killed it. I guessed 150ish from the pics.

Sorry buddy I've probably shown to much already, I treat my westside blacktail spots just like my eastern turkey spots once u get one or a good spot ur smart if u don't show or tell anyone if u want it to be a good spot on the westside... not even ur buddies.. this hunter is the only soul I have ever seen in this particular spot and I couldn't be more happy he notched his tag with this guy..

I think blacktail hotspots are a bit more rare than Eastside turkey spots :chuckle:
In my experience a great E-WA turkey area is between the Pacific Crest Trail and Idaho.

Great buck.Please don't confuse me as one of the buddy's who was there. I know where this was killed the same way Jeremiah P does...People talk. I have no idea if this guy was on a quad or not, but I can guarantee you that I wasn't. I only tried to hunt that gate one day during late buck and had quads go by me. If I could have blocked the quad trail with my truck I would have, but I would have been blocking the gate too.
