Lots of people fishing the river this weekend, but very few with the success of my fishing partner and I.  Hope all enjoy the pics.

first fish had tags in it. they put one in each side of the dorsal fin.  they say vancover on it and have a number to call. they will send you info on where the fish was released and the age and such.  AS FAR AS THE  water was clear on saturday, sunday mostly clear aswell.  not much color at all.  looooooooong leaders and small baits!!!

ya agreed. i was pissed because i could see the fish in my " while the salmon are in the river holes" but i did not have small enough line to get them to bite any of my flies. oh well with this cool weather i should have known better. It sucks to watch them move out of the way. congats on the great weekend though. did you spy any silvers yet.

Good report...I should be headed down there the first of October for a combo silver/king trip. I fish that river more than any other, even the ones in my back yard.

I went down to Drano last night. We hooked seven, got five to the boat and three were keepers. We got two more native Coho( I hate turning those chrome fish back, but I guess you gotta let them Indians net them) man was there a ton of nets out. Anyways we got three keeper steelies, the two we lost were a huge chinook and about a 12 pound steelie. I had the steelie on top of the water waiting to be neted and my father was a little to slow. The chinook surfaced once at the boat then dove down to the bottom and got wrapped around a log or something.    P.S its good to see that Roy wasnt wearing them girls shorts again. lol.

Favorite time to fish that river, too bad it coincided with everything else I like to do.
