Title: Pink camo rifle?
Post by: 3nails on November 30, 2012, 09:01:02 PM: A while back I saw a pic on here of a pink camo rifle that someone had given to their daughter or wife. I liked it and was thinking of getting my daughter one for her birthday this year. Does anyone remember this or who it was who posted it? I can't find it using the search.

Post by: wildweeds on November 30, 2012, 09:31:55 PM: C'mon man,your handy,get the rifle your looking for,used and in good shape,strip the wood and paint on.My training single shot shotgun got taken apart,sanded the finish off and then painted blaze orange so I can find it easily in the grass when I fiddle with training the dogs.Turned out good,you can pink it out and then spray over with purple and black and white.What caliber you looking for for the little miss, 25-06?

well I know lots of people on here have used northwest hydroprint, they are a sponsor or were they do good work and offer lots of options in patterns and colors maybe it was one of their jobs :dunno:

I had my daughters little .22 painted up in what they call "chick web" and it's painted not dipped.

All costs for their services are listed on the N W Hydroprint website. Their selection of prints and pictures of their work is extensive--at least it was when I checked it out a year or so ago.... :tup:

Old one brought back to life :chuckle: I am emailing some off my phone to post for ya. I have done I think 9 so far. 3 of them for members on here. I will post them after a bit when I shrink them down and get them ready to post.

The pink muddy girl semi gloss is for a member on here, it was a 243 ruger american. The others are a a7 sako in reaper skulls flat/ tikka 22-250 in true timber sage flat/the other tikka is in reaper bucks flat in 7mm-08.

I have been using it to color code all the black tikkas around this place :chuckle:

For almost the same money maybe 10-15.00 more you can have to pros do it and you know it will turn out great. It would be fun to try it yourself. However I am one of those guys prone to messing up stuff the first time I try it :chuckle:

Post by: carpsniperg2 on March 20, 2013, 07:07:10 PM: :chuckle: It's amazing what all a guy can dip. I put the a7 threw a lot last year as it's one of my go to rifles. The dip has held up very well but you can sure scratch it off if you are ruff enough with it.

And just today I saw an advertisement in an industry magazine where Colt (I think it was) is offering dipped stocks on their guns as an option. One of the 5 or 6 choices was Muddy Girl....
