I would like to find a local Kent gunsmith to mount a scope on the 30/06.
On the argentine, i would just like to have a safety inspection and Mic the bullet reciever for 100% assurance on the rounds to put in it.

Dan Cowan is in Renton on Wells and he is an awesome riflesmith.  He is a master riflesmith (he only works on rifles, not shotguns or handguns).  Dan is a great guy and very honest.  You will not beat his rates.  One time a friend of mine came into his shop with a rifle he thought had a problem.  He wanted Dan to do some work on it.  Dan looked at his rifle and when my friend came to pick it up, he told him he wouldn't do the work because his rifle was perfectly fine and the work he wanted done wouldn't improve his gun.  He did not charge my buddy a cent for looking at it!  I have taken guns to him that other gunsmiths have screwed-up.  I had a gunsmith do a trigger job on a rifle to lighten the trigger pull.  When I got it back the safety wouldn't work.  I took it to Dan and it only cost me $45 to have him fix someone else's screw-up.  Now the rifle is an absolute tack driver.  He has many policemen do work on their personal rifles.  If you go on Wells look for an RCBS sign in the window. He is open Wed-Sat.

In Bremerton, there is a rifle smith by the name of Ed Lapour. He is very good with older surplus rifles. I love the Argentine mauser of yours!

Dan Cowen has done a bunch of work for me... he's quality.

Mike Pallazo is in Covington... and does excellent work too.

Either of those guys can do whatever you need.
