Title: Territory Question
Post by: seansfire on December 02, 2012, 03:36:24 PM
Alot of you guys on here know i am very green at the hunting thing and for the others you do now. LOL. I hunt archery only and only on the westside for blacktails almost always in the Kitsap GMU.

My question is , i was told that Blacktail spend there whole life in a 1 to 2 square mile area. Wondering what your thoughts are about it and if you have found it to be true or not ?

The low land blackies can live in small areas.  The high country bucks will migrate maybe 10 miles or so (maybe farther).

sounds like the trick is getting in the woods and scouting hard pre season
