Title: Did anyone get a bull in Hancock Kapowsin this year? I never heard of anything.
Post by: hunterrcc on December 04, 2012, 12:29:20 AM: Just curious if anyone shot a bull this year in Hancock? Never heard or saw any thing beside the one guy that was muzzleloading that didn't get one looking for a big boy. Anyone know anyone that drew the tag? Just curious hoping that one day I draw a tag in there!

He killed a pig of a bull, I would guess around 380'' but only got one photo. I can't post it though, sorry. I'm sure I'll get some crap for even saying this but it's true.

Post by: elkhunter107 on December 04, 2012, 07:50:44 AM: I know of one smokepole bull (5x5) and a rifle (6x8) pig that the 5x5 guy shot and didn't find him. i think there was another monster posted on here last month?? everybody wishes they could get drawn someday in there. hell i saw saturday off the 13rd 4 bulls, got a nice BT doe with my bow that day also. :tup:

Post by: sirmissalot on December 04, 2012, 04:48:57 PM: I have a trail cam pic of a bull from Kapowsin I guessed to be close to 380. Would be interesting to know if its the same bull trophyhunt's friend killed. Near as I could tell it was a 7x8 but the picture isn't great.

That 5x7 is a gorgeous bull.

They also draw 6 tags for the employees, which is a much, much smaller pool to draw from. Wish I had a part time job there!!! Like I said earlier, they should give out more elk tags. :twocents:

Post by: rose673 on December 06, 2012, 01:34:07 PM: You don't even need to work at Hancock to actually get drawn as well, if your spouse works there, they can get drawn and have their other half hunt in there. I know thats happened a couple times.

Just wish there were more tags, so I could get a shot and not have to envy the other lucky hunters! :)

Just curious how far down the snow is if any. Going in there tomorrow for late deer. Hope to find a nice buck! Sure wished I had a job in there!!! would be nice to draw elk tags all the time!!!

Yes there was a big bull taken this year, I wish he would post it but it should score around 380 is my guess.
