I have been looking around a bit to try to find maps that would show property boundaries in the 2 counties i mentioned above as i am looking for places to scout for next year and to know i am not trespassing on private property. I have found the Pierce County GIS system works very well for Pierce County but the same program for Mason and Kitsap is nowhere near as helpful.
I know the timber companies and DNR have big chunks around but i hear there are alot of small pieces here and there as well.

I have used the parcel search on the kitsap.gov county assessor site to find property ownership. It works well for what I needed. Never tried the Pierce county one so have no comparison.

Get some DNR Public Land maps for public land. Of course that won't show timber company lands that are open for public access. For that you just have to go online, or visit the county courthouse.
