Title: Late North Sound Advice
Post by: enaz on December 06, 2012, 09:13:56 AM
I'll be hunting monday through friday 9-14, in the north sound unit. I'll be hunting 2 different pieces of property, both thick with alder and timber no clearcuts. I haven't had any time to get up there and scout or hang cams. It's very flat terrain also. No one else hunts it, I KNOW there are bucks there, it's just going to locating them in a short time. I have 2 trail cams, 150 lbs of apples, and a pop up ground blind. The moon is pretty much gone during that week so I'm hoping for some good activity. I think I will cover lots of ground the first day looking for the most sign, put out my apples, camera, and blind, amd hope the deer come. Any advice?
