Getting ready to head out for a night hunt and was laying out my gear for the night... Then I realized just how much stuff I carry... Add to this I normally carry a lanyard with 5 hand calls during the day, all my camo gear, spare box of ammo and a small gear pouch for all my small stuff... Figured I would put a picture and list up while everything was laid out all nice. I do only carry one rifle at a time, depending on the circumstances, but my .25-06 is slowly becoming my favorite... Its such a flat shooter there is really no need for tables... Its old over 9" at 300...Anything closer will be within ~2".
So here is a list... For those interested...

 I know you didn't ask me but
I love it, the only down fall is that it has a port for a decoy and a button on the remote but they (primos) doesnt have a decoy that plugs into it that I have found :dunno: :dunno: oh yeah and the remote doesn't reach as far as they say.

nice set up. Scent Killer? and camo? when I really made an effort on scent control i honestly believe it really helped my success rate with all hunting. This year i had several wild game animals some i have never seen before. I think they just did smell see or hear me. did you have any trouble mounting the remington sps on the Blackhawk axiom stock? I have a Remington 700 VTR in .308 and i did a little trimming but iT works great for this action. I want to build another VTR 700 in 22-250 for varmit/predator hunting.

I wear some scent control camo... I also wash it wash it in baking soda only, and it has its own sealed tote that I keep some cedar and fir branches in... I noticed a big difference too, I would be out calling yotes and have a deer stroll by me, totally oblivious. I am also a firm believer in hunting the wind though. No amount of scent control can make up for that. Quite a few of the places I hunt I have chosen because of the sign I see, and where the wind is coming from when I scout it.
As for the turbo dogg, I love mine... Have called in several dogs with it, just haven't been able to close the deal, but that's not the caller, that's just hunting. As well as it works, I am sure it will pay off soon. As for the remote problem, I was calling the afternoon at a ranged 148yds and my remote worked perfectly, just had the speaker sitting in a fence post about 5 feet off the ground. Now if I try to put it in the ground at that distance it won't work, but really I wouldn't expect it too. Sitting on the ground in a flat area I get about 50yds or so, which isn't too bad, if it's down hill from me I can get 100yds...
Probably sent while sitting on the ferry... While using Tapatalk 2
