Post by: uplandhunter870 on December 09, 2012, 09:39:23 AM
i am flying back to WA for Xmas with the folks and will be taking my camera and a couple lenses and other items. was wondering what people here to when flying with photo gear. im going to have my gear in my carry on but dont think i really need to take my entire photo bag with me

so what do you do? wrap in bubble wrap, wrap it up in a sweatshirt?

Thanks

little late but if you want the best traveling camera case get a pelican case with the cut out foam. takes a beating and is very gentle on your gear. otherwise i use my camera bag as a personal item so i can see it through the whole flight. although once i acquire more lenses and whatnot i'll be buying a pelican case specifically for travel/transport.
